welcome

I love photographs. As a kid, I often sat in my parent’s room and rummaged through a bedside drawer of black and white photos. I spent hours looking at my parents’ own childhood photos. And I loved the glimpse into yesteryear!

I started making photos at a young age when my grandmother gifted me a camera. Decades later I became a mom and began photographing with intention to freeze all the large and small moments of my children’s lives.

stay awhile

While my two children are now grown and flown, there is nothing I treasure more than the photos documenting their (and our family’s) lives. Southern California wildfires have caused us to evacuate twice, and each time I grabbed our irreplaceable family photos and albums before anything else. That’s how special they are to me.

I’m lucky to call San Diego home where I live with my Ironman racing fiancé and our yellow Labrador Retriever, Milo. These days you’ll find me cheering for Ron at his race finish lines, or cheering on my son, daughter and two bonus sons in their careers.

The days of volunteering in my kids’ classrooms are over but now I give back with my business. I am proud to be a photographer for The Gold Hope Project, a non-profit which offers free portrait sessions to pediatric cancer patients. Locally, I offer free end of life sessions to families whose loved ones and beloved pets are nearing the end of their days.
